Good Morning! If only we all realized the suffering and pain that our men and women went through for our freedom!

Countless lives were lost in all of the wars that the United States has been engaged in on land and sea!

Many a young man left their homes behind never to return to the waiting arms of parents and wives.

They went to war valiantly and proudly represented the

United States of America!Have we as a country forgotten the true meaning of the celebration of Memorial Day?

Is it just a three day weekend to you I wonder? A day for camping and picnics and taking it easy?Memorial Day

festivities just aren't quite the same any more....

this was once a day for remembering the dead and the fallen from past wars. Flags fluttered in the wind......

and many an old veteran stood with his hand on his chest or saluted as flag bearers marched by at parades and veteran's ceremonies

.God has kept His hand of mercy upon America since it's founding and He has blessed our fighting men and women.

Let's all pray that we can continue to be the home of the brave and the land of the free! AMERICA!!Micah Chapter 7 verse 8 tells us:

many others love them, too. There is something magnetic about

a person who is in love with Jesus Christ and has the right attitude about himself

2. He is always progressing and growing. Because he believes in himself,

he is free to be a success. Self-doubt and defeatist thoughts don’t prevent him from taking risks.

3. He is able to enjoy the moment. Instead of always rushing through

this event to get to another, or hurrying through this season of life to get to a better one,

he can slow down and enjoy the environment, enjoy what God is doing today. A person

who loves himself can settle down and “bloom where he is planted.”

Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought

Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this

day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and

every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You.

Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things.

Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over.

Let me continue to see sin through God's eyes and acknowledge it as evil.

And when I sin, let me repent, and confess with my mouth my wrongdoing,

and receive the forgiveness of God.

And when this world closes in on me, let me remember Jesus' example-to

slip away and find a quiet place to pray. It's the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits.

I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will.

Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that

I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others.

I pray for those that are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those that are misjudged

and misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those

that will delete this without sharing it with others. I pray for those that don't believe.

But I thank you that I believe.

I believe that God changes people and God changes things.

I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every family member

in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they

are out of debt and all their needs are met.

I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance,

or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight.

I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees

them and every mouth that confesses them willingly.

Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important

than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failure,

than successes, than what other people think or say or do.

It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home.

The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding

the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...

we cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on one string we have, and th
